• Meet in public places, especially for first meetups
• Follow local laws and regulations
• Report violations, safety concerns, or inappropriate behavior

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Use InOnIt for dating, romantic relationships, or sexual encounters
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate others or create fake profiles
• Spam, advertise, or promote commercial services
• Share explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Collect user data or scrape the platform
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage InOnIt's systems
• Discriminate based on race, religion, gender, orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Violate anyone's intellectual property rights

5. Content You Post

Your Content

When you post activities, messages, or profile information:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant InOnIt a license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform
• You're responsible for the content you post
• Content must comply with these Terms and our Community Guidelines

Prohibited Content

• Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or suggestive material
• Hate speech, discriminatory content, or content promoting violence
• Harassment, threats, or bullying
• Spam or misleading information

6. Safety Guidelines

Best Practices:

• Always meet in public places for first meetups
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going
• Trust your instincts—if something feels off, cancel the meetup
• Don't share personal information (address, financial details) prematurely
• Report suspicious behavior immediately
• Use InOnIt's chat feature for initial coordination

7. Verification

We offer optional profile verification to build trust in our community. Verification:

• Is completely optional
• May require government-issued ID or student credentials
• Does not guarantee safety or vouch for a user's character
• Can be revoked if terms are violated

8. Privacy and Data

9. Intellectual Property

InOnIt and all related materials (logo, design, content, features) are owned by InOnIt and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

10. Termination

By You

You can delete your account at any time through the app settings.

By InOnIt

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• Your behavior poses a safety risk to others
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• We're required to do so by law
• We decide to discontinue InOnIt (with notice)

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

No Warranties

InOnIt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

• That you'll find activity partners or make friends
• The accuracy or reliability of user-provided information
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The safety or conduct of other users

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InOnIt is not liable for:

• Interactions between users, including offline meetups
• Injuries, damages, or losses resulting from use of our platform
• User conduct or content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold InOnIt harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

13. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If you have a concern, please contact us at hello@inonit.app and we'll try to resolve it informally.

Arbitration

If we can't resolve a dispute informally, both parties agree to binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except for small claims court matters.
